While many of my peers were playing sports and socializing, I was sitting in watching my mom assist on installations of work by greats like Chihuly and Roy Lichtenstein.
The vibrant colors, sharp lines, and cutting edge innovation from their pieces were and still are one of a kind. They remain forever etched in my mind and continue to serve as inspiration to me in my work.
My biggest takeaway from these childhood memories? That art and design has the power to move people and create vivid, memorable experiences for those who encounter it.
